    With a heavy heart and much sadness, we share with you the news that Steve Lonergan passed away unexpectedly on Feb 24th, 2021.

    As a friend and colleague, Steve worked relentlessly for SDRefinery since 2018. Even the challenges of an early-stage company didn’t prevent Steve from having a smile on his face and an upbeat, can-do attitude.

    Having served the risk & insurance industry for over 45 years (!), Steve experienced the depth and complexity of the industry from many different perspectives.

    He had a big, beautiful heart and generously shared his time and knowledge with people far and near. He continually sought to help executives and companies succeed.

    We will miss you, Steve.
